Located at the Chepstow Town Council Offices, the Community Projects and Events Coordinator will work an average of 21 hours per week. The position provides a salary of £17,632 annually for part-time work, with full-time equivalent earnings at £31,067. Applicants should be prepared for some evening and weekend responsibilities.
This role will include:
- Organizing town events like the Bands on the Bandstand and the Christmas Lights Switch-On.
- Contributing to environmental initiatives such as the Chepstow Community Orchard.
- Collaborating with local groups, schools, and stakeholders to enhance community projects.
- Researching grants to secure funding for community activities.
- Supporting administrative tasks for Town Council meetings.
